Excellent book to read in one sitting!
By BookWorm221
Such a fun, cute, lighthearted book, the perfect book to get you to get lost in the story of two teens falling in love for the first time.
Abby and Nathan are two sixteen year old pop stars, Nathan is part of a famous band and Abby is just getting started as their opening act in their tour. Needless to say from the moment they meet, there are sparks flying around all over the place, the connection is instantaneous and the both just can't stop it from unfolding, even if they both have other responsibilities first.
This is the first book I've read of this series, but they all sound amazing so I might give them a read as well.

So cute and romantic!
By The Tale Temptress
I've been a big fan of the Backstage Pass series since the very first book, and have thoroughly enjoyed each installment. I've been eagerly anticipating Nathan's story, because he's the one I felt like I knew the least about. He's more quiet, the youngest, and hasn't really taken center stage, so to speak, in the overall plot so far. This book didn't disappointment.
I loved Nathan immediately. He's so sweet and cute. I hated the situation he now finds himself in. All the other guys in the band have girlfriends, so the pressure is on for him to be the "dateable" one, the one people still have a chance with. Thus, he has to go on dates with celebrity girls he isn't even interested in. I know this happens in real life. You know all those celebrity marriages that occur and last a year or less? They were probably PR setups. I felt really bad for Nathan because of this situation, for him to have to hold the entire bag when what he really wants is a more simple girl, down to earth. He finds that in Abby.
Abby was so sweet, talented, and what I thought was a perfect match for Nathan. They meet very early in the story, and they had what I would describe as a "meet cute". I won't spoil it for anyone, but I will say that I was on board with their romance from the first few pages. She's got a YouTube following and is auditioning to be the opening act for Seconds to Juliet. Only problem is, once she's there, she's pretty much forbidden ground for Nathan in all respects.
I loved the conflict in this story, the way PR people try to dictate a celebrity's every move. And I loved the romance. I can't go into more detail without ruining something for those who haven't read it. But the author did a fabulous job giving this book depth inside a cute story, and for ending out this great series with a wonderful installment. Loved it.

A cute and charming ending to a wonderful series!
By Rachel
I have absolutely adored the Backstage Pass series from Entangled Crush. Truthfully, I've loved it so much that I'm not at all prepared to let it go. I just think it was such a clever idea to have five different authors write this series revolved around a boy band, with each book focusing on another member's love story. The last book is from author Erin Butler and she tells the story of the final and youngest member of Seconds to Juliet. Nathan is the only single member left in the band, and he has a lot of pressure placed on him to keep up his cute boy image. I loved Nathan and Abby as individuals and I loved them even more as a couple. This was a beautiful love story and I'm so glad that I read this awesome and memorable series!
In the previous books, the couples had a kind of love/hate relationship at the beginning. There was never REALLY any insta-love going on, though there was tension between Matt and Anya from the beginning. Anyway, Abby and Nathan kiss the first time that they meet. This bothered me a little bit at first just because things seemed to be moving way too fast, but somehow Butler still made this work. Even though they did kiss right away, there was still a lot of things getting in the way of them being together. You couldn't help but cheer for them as a couple because they were such likable characters on their own. They had a lot in common, they both had an undeniable love for music and I personally loved that mutual bond between them.
I found the business side of the band to be really fascinating. There's a lot that goes into being on tour and I feel like Butler showed that really well. However, I did find the manager to be extremely irritating honestly, I just craved Nathan to have more freedom regarding his image. Being a teenager alone is already difficult, I can't even imagine what it would be like being a FAMOUS teenager who's constantly in the spotlight. I thought Abby was a great character and I really felt how much she wanted to be on the stage. Though I liked her, I felt like there could have been even more exploration with her character. I felt like Nathan's development was well done, but Abby's wasn't as great.
I recommend reading the other books in the series before you pick up this one. Yes, you don't absolutely have to, but I feel like you'll have more of an investment in these characters and their stories if you do. I was sad when I hit the last page, but I was completely satisfied with the ending and felt like Butler wrapped everything up in the best way she could.
